Northern Colorado Advanced Aesthetics Academy's 600-hour esthetics program in Loveland, Colorado combines the fundamentals required for licensure with the deeper skin knowledge and professional skills students need to enter today's esthetics industry with confidence.
MORE THAN THE BASICS OF ESTHETICS
Our program is designed to give students a comprehensive understanding of skin—not simply teach them how to perform a facial. Students develop practical knowledge of skin conditions, ingredients, treatment planning and professional skincare while building the hands-on skills needed to work confidently with clients.
Education also includes sought-after services such as lash extensions, lash lifting and tinting, brow design and henna, makeup artistry, spray tanning, lymphatic drainage, body contouring and advanced modalities. Students also receive post-licensure training opportunities in manual resurfacing, including microdermabrasion and dermaplaning, and advanced chemical peels.

Our limited-enrollment approach allows students to receive more individualized instruction, hands-on practice and educator support. The goal isn't simply to complete 600 hours—it is to graduate with the knowledge, confidence and practical experience to begin building a career in professional esthetics.

COLORADO ESTHETICS PROGRAM REQUIREMENTS
Our 600-hour esthetics program includes the education and practical training required for Colorado esthetician licensure, along with additional hands-on education designed to prepare students for professional practice.
Facial and Skin Care (210 clock hours)
Facial Makeup (30 clock hours)
Hair Removal (90 clock hours)
Laws, rules and regulations (30 clock hours)
Management, ethics, interpersonal skills and salesmanship (30 clock hours)
Disinfection, Sanitation and Safe Work Practices (210 clock hours)
600 hours total
NCEA PREP & ADVANCED SKIN SCIENCE EDUCATION
Go Beyond the Minimum Requirements
In addition to Colorado's required 600-hour esthetics curriculum, students receive expanded education designed to deepen their understanding of skin science and prepare them for the NCEA Certification examination.
Advanced education includes:
Skin anatomy, physiology and histology
Skin conditions and dermatological terminology
Wound healing and skin recovery
Fitzpatrick and advanced skin classification systems
Ingredients and cosmetic chemistry
Treatment indications and contraindications
Health and lifestyle factors affecting the skin
Professional consultation and treatment planning
Advanced skin analysis and corrective skincare principles
