Northern Colorado Advanced Aesthetics Academy is led by experienced educators and industry professionals dedicated to hands-on esthetics and advanced aesthetics education. Suzi Nira, LE, CLO, NCEA Certified, CIDESCO USA Member, Oncology Trained, Director
Suzi Nira is the Director and founder of Northern Colorado Advanced Aesthetics Academy and brings more than two decades of experience in esthetics, advanced aesthetics education and the professional skincare industry. A Licensed Esthetician, Cosmetic Laser Operator and NCEA Certified professional, Suzi is also a CIDESCO USA member and has completed advanced education in areas including immunology, pharmacology, health and wellness, and oncology aesthetics.
Her educational approach emphasizes the connection between skin science, client assessment, treatment planning, technology and hands-on clinical experience. Through NCAAA, Suzi is committed to preparing students to understand not only how aesthetic treatments are performed, but the science, safety considerations and decision-making behind them.
Erika Kuhn, DNP, Instructor
Erika Kuhn is an Advanced Practice Nurse and instructor at Northern Colorado Advanced Aesthetics Academy, bringing extensive clinical nursing experience and advanced medical aesthetics expertise to the classroom.
Her experience in medical aesthetics includes cosmetic neurotoxin injections, dermal fillers, laser and light-based treatments, hormone therapy and advanced aesthetic procedures. This combination of clinical nursing and aesthetic experience allows Erika to bring an anatomy-focused, safety-conscious perspective to aesthetic education.
At NCAAA, Erika helps students develop a strong understanding of facial anatomy, patient assessment, treatment planning, injection principles, patient safety and clinical decision-making. Her teaching approach emphasizes understanding not only how a procedure is performed, but the anatomy, science and rationale behind safe and appropriate treatment.
Erika is committed to helping healthcare professionals build their knowledge, technical skills and clinical judgment as they pursue advanced education in medical aesthetics.
Kassandra McKay, LE, CLO, Cosmetic Injector, Oncology Trained, NCEA Certified, Instructor
Kassandra McKay is a Licensed Esthetician, Cosmetic Laser Operator, NCEA Certified professional and instructor at Northern Colorado Advanced Aesthetics Academy. Her advanced education includes cosmetic laser, cosmetic injectables, oncology aesthetics and advanced skin treatments.
Kassandra's areas of experience include cosmetic injections, laser and light-based treatments, microneedling, chemical peels, dermaplaning, microdermabrasion and advanced aesthetic techniques. As an NCAAA instructor, she helps students connect foundational skin science with treatment selection, safety, consultation and hands-on application.
Her approach to education emphasizes practical skills, professional development and helping students build confidence while understanding the principles behind the treatments they perform.
Danielle Parkhurst, LE, CLO, Oncology Trained, NCEA Certified, Instructor
Danielle Parkhurst is a Licensed Esthetician, Cosmetic Laser Operator, NCEA Certified professional, oncology-trained esthetician and instructor at Northern Colorado Advanced Aesthetics Academy. She began her esthetics career in 2020 and has continued to expand her education through advanced certifications and specialized aesthetics training.
Her experience includes customized facial treatments, waxing, makeup artistry, brow and lash services and advanced aesthetics. As an instructor, Danielle focuses on helping students develop strong foundational skills, professional treatment techniques, client consultation abilities and confidence in the treatment room.
Danielle's commitment to continued education allows her to bring current techniques and practical industry experience into the classroom while helping students develop a thoughtful, client-centered approach to aesthetics.
